Rebellyous Mummy Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz tube of vegan crescent dinner rolls (many are vegan, just check the label)
  • 3 slices dairy-free cheese, like Violife or Follow Your Heart brands
  • 1 package of Rebellyous Plant-Based Tenders
  • 10-12 sliced olive pieces (optional, for eyes)
  • Favorite condiments

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 400℉
  • Remove crescent dough from container and flatten dough on a clean surface. Cut into 6 long strips. These can be rough and uneven since they are used to wrap the mummies. Cut slices in cheese in half to create 6 small rectangle pieces of cheese. Remove Rebellyous tenders from the package.
  • Place a tender on top of a slice of cheese then wrap a strip of dough around the nugget and cheese, while holding at the top. Press at ends to secure. Use a small extra piece of dough to cover the “head” of the mummy if desired. Repeat with remaining tenders.
  • Space wrapped mummies out on the prepared baking sheet bout n inch between each other. Bake for 15 min or until the dough is lightly browned.
  • Once cool, use olive slices to make eyes if desired and decorate with condiments. Enjoy!
