Rebellyous Foods Celebrates East Coast Expansion

Award-Winning Plant-Based Chicken Arrives at Albertsons Mid-Atlantic

Rebellyous Foods, a company that creates groundbreaking manufacturing technology for plant-based meats, announced today the expanded availability of its award winning plant-based nuggets and tenders. Beginning this week the products will be available at 66 Albertsons locations in the Mid-Atlantic region including Safeway and Acme stores, encompassing Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. 


Rebellyous Nuggets and Tenders are 100% plant-based with no cholesterol, antibiotics, or hormones, and less saturated fat than their chicken counterparts. Shoppers will be able to find the products in the freezer case for $5.99.

The expansion of these plant-based chicken products comes at a time when sales of plant-based chicken are exploding. According to SPINS data, plant-based chicken is growing at a rate of 18 percent, more than four times higher than chicken from animals, which has grown at a rate of 4 percent.
